I completed my secondary education at Cleveden Secondary School in Glasgow, with a foundation in Maths and English alongside an SVQ in Business Studies and Accounting.
I don't hold a degree. What I do have is 14 years of on-the-job learning across genuinely varied and demanding environments. I'd back that against a textbook any day.

In recent years, I've invested deliberately in staying current. That means formal training in AI Engineering covering LLMs, RAG, QLoRA and APIs, alongside ISO 9001:2015 QMS auditing, Agile coaching, KPI architecture, Balanced Scorecard design, and Performance Management.
I'm not upskilling for the sake of it. I'm making sure that the improvements I lead are built for where organisations are heading, not just where they've been.

14 years across telecoms, local government, justice and the charity sector. Each one is a different environment, each one requiring a different approach.
From fraud analysis and collections strategy at Three UK, through compliance and MI modernisation at GEOAmey, performance frameworks at City of Edinburgh Council, and campaign data governance at People's Postcode Lottery.
Every role has added something to how I think about process, data and change.

Process improvement, data governance, dashboard design, change management, system migrations, stakeholder engagement, KPI frameworks, and AI-integrated workflows.
The tools change depending on the environment. Tableau, Power BI, SAP, SAS, Jira, Confluence, Oracle PeopleSoft, Tallyman. The approach doesn't. Understand the problem properly before trying to fix it, bring people with you, and make sure the improvement sticks.
Key projects include redesigning and automating campaign and data workflows at People's Postcode Lottery, cutting processing defects by 70% and freeing up 15 hours a week for higher-value work, including managing 10 phased migrations to Adobe Campaign.
Building SAP, Tableau, and Power BI dashboards for the City of Edinburgh Council that gave directors a single trusted view of operational and financial performance.
Standardising compliance data across 17 prisons and 60 custody suites at GEOAmey.
Helping Three UK avoid over £2m in regulatory penalties through tighter data governance and audit controls.

If you're looking for someone who'll come in, understand what's actually going on, and help your organisation run better, I'd like to talk.
